“Steps towards change”: an update!

And as promised, we would like to update you on the progress of this wonderful project which involves 18 organizations from Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.

On the 25th June, InCo participated in the second video conference with the project partners: several people who went to seminar of February in Čadca - the hometown of KERIC (the coordinating organization of this project). It was a joy to meet again all those happy faces and full of energy to work together! Even the coordination of this conference wasn't  simple at all: put together  people of 4 different continents at the same time together considering the time zones, different appointments to manage and technical complications...

From Vietnam to Honduras there are 13 hours of difference!

Nevertheless we were able to discuss the most important points and to agree for the next tasks to be developed. During the last months, we were also ableto establish new collaborations and projects with these partnerswhich, if approved by the Executive Agency, will enable us to offernew possibilities for exchange and collaboration. Let's cross our fingers!

A further step in this proposal was the info- day dedicated to EVS organized by InCo onthe 28th of June (do you remember about it? This is the news ). The meeting - financed by the project - was an important moment of orientation of young people interested in doing voluntary service abroad. There was some discussion about what is the EVS, how does itworks, how to get involved, how to find a project, etc. Information in 360º. Participants attended the meeting with great interest and now can count on the support and guidance of InCo.

Soon this project will end so there will be some latest updates. We are really excited about this partnership and the partial results of the project so far.

Thanks, KERIC ,for this wonderful opportunity!
