Time flies Blog dei volontari
Another few months in Italy are now behind me, and it’s hard to believe how quickly time is flying by. In the meantime, I’ve managed to visit more beautiful places – San Marino, Turin, and, once again, Rome and Milan. Each of these cities had its own unique atmosphere and showed me a completely different side of Italy.

One of the highlights of recent months was the mid-term training in Rome. There, I met some wonderful people from various European countries. I hadn’t expected to bond so quickly with people I’d only known for a week. After the training ended, everyone returned to their projects, but we’re already planning further get-togethers – this time in our own countries.
I also fulfilled one of my little dreams and managed to go to a concert by my favourite band. It was one of those evenings you remember for a very long time.
The weather’s been rather unpredictable of late, over 30 degrees in the morning, then a hailstorm in the evening. Luckily, flip-flops work in any situation, because whatever the weather, sooner or later you’re going to get wet anyway.
In my spare time, I still try to make the most of the local area. My favourite pastime has become visiting the ‘dog beach’ by the lake and watching the dogs having a swim. It sounds unassuming, but it can lift your spirits even after the most intense day.
