"Only 2 months left" Blog dei volontari

I’m slowly moving towards the final weeks. As I get closer, I’m also nervous about what I’ll decide to do in the future. But when I look back, I see that even though there have been ups and downs, I’ve formed some wonderful friendships—from traditional Georgian dishes to Polish or Palestinian foods :)

When I reflect on myself, this year has made me realize more than anything that we’re the ones who set our own limits and barriers. People are easily influenced by their surroundings. The boundaries we think exist are actually shaped by the energy we absorb from those around us. I think that’s the best part of doing an Erasmus exchange. You’re removed from all the distractions. You have so many opportunities to focus on yourself.

And it’s never too late to start. Here, I swam in a lake for the first time. I enjoyed canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) (so much so that I’m thinking of getting my own SUP), I climbed the mountains I’d been missing, and I want to go skydiving before I leave :)

The things I’ll miss most about Trento will be the mountains, the lakes, and the cheap coffee :) but of course, aside from my friendships <3
