Last Thursday, May 14th, the final meeting of this year’s ESC volunteers took place at the Centro per la Cooperazione Internazionale in Trento. Fifteen participants from different European countries including Spain, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Georgia, and Greece. Came together for one last shared experience before some of them complete their projects in the coming weeks.
The meeting was filled with positive energy, reflection, and meaningful conversations. Participants also had the chance to welcome a new volunteer from Lebanon, who is just beginning her ESC journey. More experienced volunteers shared their knowledge, ideas, recommendations, and personal experiences gained throughout their projects.
One of the most touching activities was writing small notes to every participant. It was a simple but heartfelt way to thank one another for the shared moments and for meeting such inspiring and valuable people along the way.
The volunteers also took part in activities designed to help them prepare their Europass certificates, which each participant will receive at the end of their project. During the workshops, they reflected on what they had gained from the experience and what they would take back home with them including new skills, unforgettable memories, friendships, and personal growth.
During the lunch break, everyone contributed something to a shared meal, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere where participants could spend more time together and enjoy each other’s company.
Although the projects are slowly coming to an end, the memories, experiences, and connections created during this time will certainly stay with the volunteers for many years to come.
Special thanks go to Francesca and Daria for leading the activities, as well as Marta and Marina for supporting the team and becoming the group’s unofficial photographers throughout the meeting.
