Living here now has given me a completely different perspective... Blog dei volontari

After finishing school, like so many others, I didn't know what my next step should be. I wanted to take a year off to learn new things, visit another country, and simply do things that I thought I would never have time for otherwise. I also wanted to do something different from school, which had been my life for the last 12 years, and well, I ended up volunteering at a school again, but I love it.
I only knew Italy from holidays, but living here now has given me a completely different perspective. Of course, it's a beautiful country, but the language, the people, the enthusiasm for sport and nature (and pasta...) are also incredible. I am sure that, both through my environment here and through my work in the primary school, I will take away many more things that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
