Ciao! I’m Dea from Georgia and I appeared in the country of my dreams in my 20s!

I’ve always been a dreamer - little Dea always dreamed of travelling to different countries with her friends, speaking different languages with people of different cultures, seeking adventures and connections everywhere.

SPOILER ALERT: It happened!

I finished my Bachelor's in Georgia and decided to dedicate some time to my dreams (without academic stress!) before starting Master’s. That’s why I chose Italy - country of beauty, love, delicious food, nostalgic music, kind and caring people… And (surprisingly) Italy chose me too. I’m volunteering at the youth center in Pergine Valsugana for one year, spending time with young people and creating a safe space for them to express themselves. It’s been 3 months of this journey where I already discovered many amazing places, met amazing people, found tiny inspiration in everyone and everything, experienced emotions I did not even know existed and created so, so many memories!

If I’m allowed to give some advice, I’d tell you to listen to your inner child, follow your dreams without a fear of “wasting time”, because you’ll be proud of yourself the most, when you make your inner child proud of you!
