Having spent a few months in Italy I can confidently say I've made the right choice for my year abroad. At first I had to deal with some difficulties and unfamiliar situations, but in time everything resolves itself. The message i would like to transmit to anyone thinking about ESC,is that you will be challenged, maybe you will want to give up at times and return to your comfort zone and familiar places,but you shouldn't. You grow so much through this experience and even after a few months you're a different, more mature and independent person. Having friends helps with that a lot,so you should be open to trying out new things,saying yes to new adventures etc. I've met incredible people and visited unique places because of this.
I'm looking forward to the last months here,even though I don't want this experience to end.
