Trentino is Paradise on Earth

I’m Milan and I am convinced that northern Italy is the most beautiful place on earth.

With my family we spend every summer at the Lago Maggiore and every summer I am more amazed by the richness of nature, architecture and culture.

After 10 months of volunteering in Trentino I finally got to know the 4th type of richness: the people. From the coordinators of my organisation over my colleagues at school to my choir, everyone has been incredibly lovely and supportive with me and I felt very welcomed everywhere. 

At school, where I volunteered as an assistant teacher, I have found role models in my colleagues, and inspiration in the kids.

In my choir I have found a little big family and in the youth club, a place to spend my free time with super cool people 

In my Mentor and his friends I found people to go on adventures, to laugh and talk and be myself.

And in other volunteers I found friends.

Insomma, i found a lot of great people in Italy.

In general I think that the northern Italians are great people: friendly, welcoming, honest, reliable, hardworking, modest and proud, relatable, funny and enjoying life.
