Volunteering in Trento

In the frame of the training course “Cittadini Planetari” Associazione InCo e Mlal Trentino onlus held an event of international visibility with the participation of various volunteers who have carried out their service inside and outside Europe.

During this meeting in which more than 25 attendees participated, different activities were carried out, among which were included dynamics of awareness of wealth and world hunger, as well as the realization of workshops related to the reflection of various social issues that afflict different countries that do not belong to European Union.

The event began at 4:00 p.m. where the participants could also taste various snacks at the same time carrying out the activities in which they were involved.

The highlight was the exhibitions made by various volunteers about life in Latin American countries such as Bolivia, Mexico and Argentina. In addition to an exhibition about the political and social situation of Ukraine. Sara Soldavini, from Italy, explained her  International Civic Service experience in Bolivia; Ezequiel Lifschitz and Marina Gomel, from Argentina, explained to the audience the current political and feminicide adversities facing their country. For her part Olga Prykhodko, from Ukraine, explained the war that her country has gone through and the complications that this has brought to its inhabitants. Finally, Israel Pulido exhibited about Mexico, where he explained various topics about the gastronomic and spiritual culture of that country.

The event concluded with a reflection by the organizers on all the issues addressed during the meeting. At the same time, the participants were invited to continue attending the upcoming events in the frame of “Cittadini Platenari” training course.
